Life teen, the Council of Trent, and the “spirit of Vatican II”

Previously here at the Crusade of Pope Pius XII we have criticized the Charismatic movement; to be specific, the teenage group titled “Life teen”.

Are the actions of those who participate at life teen condemned by The Council of Trent? Lets take a look and start off with their actions they regularly perform at the Steubenville Conference; shall we?

“And in delivering their sentiments, when the priests of the Lord are sitting together in the place of benediction, no one–agreeably to the statute of the council of Toledo–ought either to be boisterous by immoderate outcries, or to cause disturbance by tumult; none to be contentious with false, vain, or obstinate disputation; but let whatsoever is said be so tempered by the mildest utterance of the words spoken, that neither the hearers may be offended, nor the rectitude of a correct judgment be warped by the mind being troubled. (Council of Trent Session 2 – Paragraph 2)”

If anybody who identifies as a Catholic denies this very statement; as well as any of the other infallible statements that must be believed by all Roman Catholics; they put themselves in schism with the Church by disobedience and sin against the unity of the Church. We cannot forget that this same organization was founded by a heretical priest who was later excommunicated for opening a non denominational church; which is also a schismatic act; which explains the watered down theology of the heretical group now known as “life teen” which wasn’t even approved by the Holy Roman Church.

” Oh come on Chris, you are being judgmental and you hate everything post – Vatican II!”

Actually no; I oppose the actions done under the “spirit of Vatican II” as well as the modernist statements added into the council by masonic brother Buan; also known as Cardinal Bugini, that has caused the Holy Catholic Church to almost collapse these past 50+ years (Which wont happen since Christ promised that the gates  Hell shall not prevail” . We cannot deny the fact that this very group is infested with modernism; both liturgically and theologically, which their support of the youcat catechism and “liturgical worship” clearly proves.

Still not convinced that the Lifeteen movement isn’t Catholic?

By this very image what more must I say? Some will try to excuse this and quote from The general principle is contained in Article 14 of the constitution on the sacred liturgy which states:

“Mother Church earnestly desires that all the faithful should be led to that full, conscious and active participation in the ceremonies which is demanded by the very nature of the liturgy.”

This is the same quote from the Second Vatican Council that both the modernist hiearchy and laity have been using for decades. However; this is also the same quote that has been taken out of context, for this was intended to have the laity respond to the priest through sacred chant which goes back to Pius X which states in his motu proprio, Tra le sollecitundini, published in 1903 that “the faithful assemble to draw that spirit from its primary and indispensable source, that is, from active participation in the sacred mysteries and in the public and solemn prayer of the Church.”

Now lets be honest; do you really think Pope Pius X would accept the new interpretation and innovation of “active participation”?

Pope Pius XI in his apostolic constitution, Divini cultus, wrote in 1928, that the restoration of Gregorian chant for the use of the people would provide the means whereby “the faithful may participate in divine worship more actively.” Such participation was to be achieved both by singing and by an appreciation of the beauty of the liturgy which stirs the heart of the worshiper, who thereby enters into the sacred mysteries.

In his encyclicals, Mystici corporus in 1943, and Mediator Dei in 1947, Pope Pius XII used the term but carefully insisted that true participation was not merely external but consisted in a baptismal union with Christ in His Mystical Body, the Church.

In 1958, the Sacred Congregation of Rites issued the instruction, De musica sacra, which distinguished several qualities of participation:

The Mass of its nature requires that all those present participate in it, in the fashion proper to each.

This participation must primarily be interior (i.e., union with Christ the Priest; offering with and through Him).

b) But the participation of those present becomes fuller (plenior) if to internal attention is joined external participation, expressed, that is to say, by external actions such as the position of the body (genuflecting, standing, sitting), ceremonial gestures, or, in particular, the responses, prayers and singing . . .

It is this harmonious form of participation that is referred to in pontifical documents when they speak of active participation (participatio actuosa), the principal example of which is found in the celebrating priest and his ministers who, with due interior devotion and exact observance of the rubrics and ceremonies, minister at the altar.

c) Perfect participatio actuosa of the faithful, finally, is obtained when there is added sacramental participation (by communion).

d) Deliberate participatio actuosa of the faithful is not possible without their adequate instruction.

In addition; this explains why Trent also stated the following:

“Let there be no talking or conversing together, but with mouth and mind association with the celebrant (Session 2 – Paragraph 2)

CANON XIII.-If any one saith, that the received and approved rites of the Catholic Church, wont to be used in the solemn administration of the sacraments, may be contemned, or without sin be omitted at pleasure by the ministers, or be changed, by every pastor of the churches, into other new ones; let him be anathema. (Addressing this very key issue and the Novus Ordo missal, per say).

Thus, the hand clapping, hand holding, the balloons, the guitar, and Protestantised liturgy is the very tactic the modernists have used as an act of blasphemy an disobedience to mock and abandon the Catholic theology of the Mass, which Cardinal Ottviani and Cardinal Bacci warned against on the novus ordo to begin with. Oh Lord; Help us in these times of apostasy Our Lady has warned us of.
